Just taking first steps using proMIDI and Ableton Live, in XP, connecting them with midiyoke internal midi routing. All very promising: being able to control visuals with Ableton clips / controller is fantastic.

Problem, though: if I pick a wrong channel in the code (i.e. if it's not coming out of Ableton) then NOTHING works at all. Then, it won't start working until I restart both Ableton and Processing. Sometimes, in fact, if I stop play in Ableton and close the applet, the next one won't play either - black screen of nothingness.

It took me a long while to work out this was what the problem was. Now it's kind of OK - as long as I have exactly the right channels open - but it would be great to know what the problem is, so I can fiddle with code and not have to restart everything.

Of course, if no-one else is having this problem, it could be something to do with midiyoke. Anyone had similar problems?
