Hi to all,

I'm new to this forum ( and to processing , also .... ). I'm working on a concept that should start from a " mapping " of density of population in a city. I would like to create some maps formed by spots and straight lines connecting them.

just to have an idea, this is a great example of what I have i mind

of course I know it's quite easy to have a line and two dots connected by that in processing. but should somebody give me an advice to create something like a 3d space ( a web of these lines....)  where for exemple I start from a map of the city with different color areas for different quantity range and the height of the dots from   a 0 surface ( the base ) IS this "density number ".

hope it's quite clear what I tried to say.....

I need tips to start creating somwthing complex....and in which direction start working....
