streaming video Vs. pre-loaded video
Mar 14th, 2008, 4:38pm

Hello, this is my first post. I'm gonna take advantage of this to enter myself: my name's Andrea and I'm from Italy. I'm attending the Visual and Multimedia Communication course at IUAV, in Venice.

Me and my classmates are using JMyron to capture a video from a camera and recognize the dark pixels of each frame to convert them into black pixels. This would help us to a create a sort of mask which we'll overlay to a pre-recorded video.

The problem is that the program runs jerky, also reducing its weight. We have the suspect that we'll need to stream the video into Processing from another application. Do you think that this could be a good solution? Is it possible to achieve?
