All UN's statstics in one place

I found out about this on slashdot today, and I thought that if anyone here enjoyed "Visualizing Data" as much as I did, you may be interested too.

The UN started an initiative to make all is statistics available from one source. The link is: http://data.un.org/Default.aspx

Apparently all the data the UN has collected over the years has been available from different organization, in different formats, in commercial db's, etc... Now it’s all going to be made available for free from one location.

Haven't had a good look at it yet but looks promising.
