Processing Exhibitions in NYC (March-April 2008)

There are a few Processing-related exhibitions in NYC right now and opening soon.

The Design and the Elastic Mind exhibition at the MoMA features work created in Processing by Ben Fry, a collaboration between the SENSEable City Laboratory at MIT and the Yahoo! Design Innovation Team (programmed by Aaron Koblin), and I think a few others (what are they?). It runs until May 12th.

Also, I have two exhibitions opening on March 6th. Both feature work created entirely with Processing. Both are open until the first week of April. I have a solo show at the bitforms gallery in Chelsea and the TI installation is showing at the Pratt Manhattan Gallery in a show called Impermanent Markings.

I hope some of you can make it to these shows!

Also, at MOMA in Design and the Elastic Mind:

Demetrie Tyler's Hypothetical Drawings

(definitely made in Processing).

And Stamen's Cabspotting is there too as well as something by Jonathan Harris. Not sure if these projects are Processing. . .Seeing the show Sunday, will know more then!

Looking forward to your exhibitions Casey!
