Sync image files with counter?

Hi,
i want to load some images in my program based on their time of creation. I don't know how to read the data info of my jpgs
so i can tell them to load when my counter (fake clock) match the same time as the jpgs..

I found this so far

but i'm not reading the files from any php site, just from a local folder.

any one have some ideas that would help to get started?
