Here's the thing, I really hate working with OpenGL for modeling. I'm a much bigger fan of GMax but the problem is Processing doesn't let me use my files. Any suggestions?

IF you can find a way to convert them to the .obj file format, there's a library to load them in.

Kind of a strangely posed question.. but JohnG is correct as always.

You can use milkshape, which I believe has a free version, to convert your stuff to wavefront obj format. No guarantees on preserving face normals, uv positions, or anything like that though.
