I made a sequel to conwayice, the mapping of successive generations of Conway's Game of Life as a stack, making ephemeral blue sculptures.

The new version has a bigger workspace. Mouse now zooms in rather than regenerates. Plus you can put in your initial seed pattern (and play with some other patterns) and save the results.
