schools/books to learn/enhance visual aesthetics.

Hi,

I'm actually learning activily processing and vvvv and well real addicted to theses pieces of software and alsomore all the generative graphic design, interactive architecture, digital art community, etc...things

Basiclly, I've a computer science degree (i'm 26) but i'm not actually working into programming. I've just a job that allow me to eat, have a flat and some free time.

When i finished my studies i spent most time dealing with my music than programming (as i didn't found that programming can be applied so well to art), shame on me...

Nowadays, I past all my freetime working with processing and vvvv for learning (sleeping 5hours perday) and i'd like to know if some of you, know some schools for learning that tools and design concepts (and would accept some kind of "old" student, i finished my studies 4 years ago)).

I'm actually living in france, but travelling and study into  english or spanish would be ok.

Or at least, some books that can help me to enhance my aesthetic, or give some design theory (i know there's plenty of books about it, but some are really best than other) over hum color theory, printing, shapes, generative...

I've bought the Ben and Casey's book,  and for the few i've read, it's a really good material, it'll be my desk book for a long time.

I'm thinking to start a compagny dealing with visual communication using that kind of "new" tools but i'm not sure i'm skill enough to start that. So if you have some recommandations, i'd be happy.

Thanks,
regards.

There's alot of good information at GeneratorX:
http://www.generatorx.no/

There's an extensive bibliography in the Processing book.

As for schools, I'm sold on U.C.L.A. (I teach there):
http://dma.ucla.edu

But there are many other wonderful schools around the world.
