Hi there, im doing my final project and im trying to combine reactivision and flash in order to identify each shape from the reactivision and each shape to trigger a sound when see by the webcam.Im having difficutlies with the actionscript in order to play more than two sounds at the same time and im afraid that if i pass the 8 sounds it will crash as iv heared from some people.Any tip or help for the script it will very usefull from me cause i need to trigger 28 diffrent sounds from each shape and i dont know if this is possible.Maybe you recomend any other programm than flash in order to make my life easier to trigger diffrent sounds?Thank you in advance

1: Post this sort of stuff in the Programs category please.

2: How are you playing the sound in Flash? I know you can fire sounds in Flash from pure actionscript but I'm just pasting them into a movieclip off stage and then playing that movie using actionscript when I need that sound - and this is for games and it generally offers a lot more control over the way Flash arses up the sound (mostly because you can alter the envelope on the sound in settings). I've never encountered this 8 sound crash event.

3: Why are you posting Flash questions on a Processing message board?

4: You can do all of what you've mentioned inside Processing, but if you haven't worked with Processing before you will have to allow a week or two to adjust, but I will say that Processing does what I tell it to more often than Flash does - so learning it is quicker.

Have a look at the sound libraries under reference.
