Has anybody experimented with displaying the audio waveform of a live signal?

Nope.  You would be the first.

[:-D Sorry, couldn't resist.]

Anyway, yeah many of us have at least played with that, or at most spend hundreds of hours with it.  Waveform display is kind of a "hello world" program for audio input.  How can we help you?  [Forgive my childish sense of humor!]

Got a sound library installed

Download one of the sound libraries for Processing: Ess,  Mimin etc...

Experiment with this Ess example.

Keep the noise down and have fun! Smiley

Groovy, that's a good start. Thanks!

I've got more experience with SuperCollider and stuff, just getting started with Processing here. I appreciate the help.
