Gallery Script
May 29th, 2007, 3:21pm

I wrote a simple php script to automate the creation of a processing gallery, and wanted to share it if anyone is interested.

you can see the gallery it creates here:
http://www.divinepenguin.com/processing/

and can download the script here:
http://www.divinepenguin.com/processing/processing_gallery.zip

the script looks for jar files and then writes out appropriate applet code. the html is based on the standard processing "export" html.

if the script finds a pde file, it  displays a link to your source code.

and if it does find your source code, it looks for the lines "stageWidth=" and "stageHeight=" in order to set the size of the applet. if it doesn't find those lines or doesn't find source for a sketch, it uses the default stage size.

let me know if this works for you...

enjoy!

Looks promising, I'm going to try it out later.

What I think would be really useful is a list of links to all the sketches so you can jump to different ones in a nonlinear way.

With my limited PHP-Fu I've pasted this together some time ago.

This sounds great, but the download link doesn't seem to be working.

I modified this script to sort the gallery based on file creation date. to set the dates arbitrarily, just upload them in whatever order you want them to display. this seemed more useful to me than sorting alphabetically.
