JMyron - poor framerate?
Apr 16th, 2007, 9:42pm

Hi,

I've noticed that when using JMyron with my MacBook Pro's iSight, if I use capture resolutions above 480*320 (approximation), frame rates drop significantly.
Any capturing at 640*480 is very choppy, but clearly this is not down to the hardware. It's fine in Skype, PhotoBooth, etc.

Is it the case that JMyron is not intended for high-res use? I was hoping to use 640*480 at the very least for testing purposes, and was ideally looking at using HD video as my input.

Also, on a slightly related issue, all imagery seems to be flipped horizontally. Is this a known bug?

Thanks for your time.
