change instrument in promidi?

Does anyone know how I could change the default instrument that is played when using a sequence in Promidi?

At the moment I just use the internal Microsoft GS Wavetable SW synth and I get a piano sound when playing my sequence. I'm looking for something similar to the setPhraseInstrument( ) command as in jm-Etude where the instrument can be chosen.
