Gesture Recognition

I am totally new to processing and developing a final year project at university. Am torn between using Flash 8 or Processing but I am not too sure how easy it is with processing to use gesture recognition. Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to go about gesture recognition with a webcam?

Hi All,

I'm trying to implement some gesture recognition for a project that I'm working on.  I've been playing around with the code from the link that smallfly posted (http://www.arkitus.com/?id=21) but I haven't been about to get it running on processing 1.0.

I'm not sure if its because this code that arkitus build was using an older version of processing or not, but the error I keep receiving is:

Cannot parse error text: File /tmp/build58627.tmp/GestureRecognition.java is specified

File /tmp/build58627.tmp/GestureRecognition.java is specified more than once

Would someone be able to help be resolve this problem?  Thanks.

Hi there,
Similarlay to Katy lil , i m also working on a final year project and have been using processing for all that i do, i m tryin to incorporate gestural recognition to have as an input interaction
any advice on libraries that i need gtk2??
i m lost and dont know what to do  Sad

any help would be greatly recieved:)
