QuickCam 4000 Issues

I have a WinXP machine with a Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000.

I had problems with Processing 0098 with WinVDig 1.0.5.  Turns out the problem was (likely) with WinVDig 1.0.5 -- I installed WinVDig 1.0.1, and it worked perfectly.

The main symptom was an error dialog with something to the effect: "Couldn't connect video from QuickCam 4000 to QuickTime" (or something to that effect). QTCap didn't work either, which should have been the first clue.

Anyway, just hope that helps someone else, too.

Oh, and I have QTJava from the newest QuickTime 7.0.1 -- or something like that. Turns out QTJava was broken from the previous sub-version.

I resolved this problem by trying one of the older versions of WinVDig.

Hopefully, this helps someone.
