Hi there, I need to connect old school NES controller to Processing, I was googling one hour but I didn't find any information how easily build NES to RS232 interface. Can anybody help?

Not sure if this is the kind of solution you're looking for, but you could get a controller from Retrozone that's USB compatible, then use Junxion (Mac only) or Max to convert to MIDI.

If you're using Max, you could also use my MaxLink library or Andreas Schlegel's oscP5 to get the control data to Processing without mucking around with MIDI.

Hey,

If you're just looking to get it working with Processing, and don't want to use it as an actual game controller then you could very easily hack a USB keyboard, and havre the NES controller sending keypresses to the computer.

Would be very easy to do:
