I'm working on a sound-responsive concert piece for the Generator.x tour later this month. Using Sonia to get the live FFT works a charm, except I'm a bit mystified by what the range of the values are.

As I understand it adding all the values of FFT should add to a "unit" value, i.e. 1 or whatever arbitrary unit has been set. Is this true for Sonia?

I'm considering just adding a "max value" checker to find the peak, so that I can use it to normalize the values. But it would be even better to understand what's actually going on.
