New libraries added to the site index
Sep 24th, 2006, 2:46am

I just added the Gestalt and Genetics Algorithm libraries to the list on the website:

http://processing.org/reference/libraries/
http://www.wortwechsel.biz/gestalt/
http://robotacid.com/PBeta/AILibrary/GA/

Are there any other new libraries I missed that are high quality and well documented?

Also, please keep in mind, we strongly encourage for libraries  to be open source.

This is a very teeny-tiny library, but if anyone's interested I put the Vector3D class into a library for use with all of the examples from my nature of code class.

Cool. I'll add it. It's small, but useful.  Smiley

I also just found a mail about the new Interfascia site and examples. It has progressed extremely well and I'll add it as well.

And now we have this small, sweet library from Jorge Cardoso for reading ID3 tags:

Jesús, great documentation for a much needed library. Thank you for the contribution! I look forward to seeing how people use this.

yeah, it's great documentation, but it's not my work.

The author is http://www.philippseifried.com/

sorry for the confusion.

i was also wondering if the processing implementation of the TUIO protocol for comunication with reactivision qualifies as a library.

Thank you for the correction. I remember the SpringGUI library now from previous discussions with Philipp. And yes, the reacTIVision code for Processing is definitely a library. I didn't know it had a Processing bridge. Wonderful.

OK, all of the libraries mentioned in this thread have been added to the site index. Thank you for the input! I'm excited to say there are now 47 libraries for Processing.
