Editing items in the data directory

Hi all.

I'm working on a sketch right now where i have data files which I'm tweaking as part of the development of the sketch.  Is there a way to edit the files from within the PDE, or do I need to do it via an external editor like I'm currently doing?

btw; the last time I really did much with processing was version 69, and very briefly with 85.  Everything really has been refined a great deal... It really looks and feels excellent... great job! Cheesy
