Pixel which lights up the background
Aug 29th, 2006, 10:49am

Hi,
I'm trying an effect where a pixel on the screen could be treated as a light source, such that the light generated by the pixel would form a circle of light of decreasing intensity.

The challenge being that one pixel should light up a background image, and the pixel should be capable of increasing and decreasing in light intensity (therefore increasing and decreasing the glow around it).

Tried using a bunch of circles with a gradient of gray, but it does not work with a background image.
Can anyone help please Smiley
