Reference - user contributions

Hey, I keep going back to the reference section looking for example code, and sometimes i get a great example, sometimes I'm left wanting a little more.  The PHP website has by far the very best example of user-contributed documentation.  For instance, any of their functions are usually heavily documented with user contributed snippets like this:

http://php.net/switch/

Now, I recognize systems that you open up to user contributions end up getting spammed... but... there are definitely ways to get around that.

Do you want any help building anything for the website to facilitate this kind of contribution system? I'm a full time php/mysql programmer at a cool company by day and fine artist by night... I'm seriously digging processing, and I'd like to help.  java is not my native tongue, but php is, so if I can contribute by building something that would benefit all for the website, how/where/when do I start?

Hello Seltar

Is your lovely snippet palace up and running? I am seemingly unable to submit a snippet contribution. Says "error" after I submit!
