New Processing website!
Jan 12th, 2006, 8:02am

We launched an all new Processing website today! It looks similar, but it's very different underneath. It's easier to update and modify so we'll hopefully be making some more visible changes soon. It's now possible for you to update the happenings and courses on the homepage. Hopefully the reference translations will make their way back into the site soon. The infrastructure is now in place for this as well.

Thanks go entirely to Lenny Burdette and Florian Jenett for this great improvement.

Terrific!

I added a course via the homepage, however, I don't believe it showed up afterwards.  Do they need to be approved or perhaps I did something wrong in the process and should try again?

Thanks and great stuff!!!

To be more clear about the new site:

- reference translations easier maintained and added
- easy site updates (when we go to 1.0, will only take a few hours to fix, not like the few days like when we went to beta)
- easy site improvements (none are planed right now)
- lighter pages with css
- better separations of data and layout
- easy updates for exhibition, courses, happenings
- happiness for the css, w3c zealots

I hate to nitpick, but it doesn't pass validation yet:

It's a huge improvement, though!
