A test mov for the video library
Dec 23rd, 2005, 2:03am

Whenever I feel like scripting a bit of code to answer a question about using the Movie object I'm limited to files on my computer that are about 27mb in length. This chokes my machine. I'm sure the G5s at school wouldn't complain but my rusty machine is now throwing IRQ exceptions as well as freezing when I run more than one application.

Would it be possible for the reference section to have a 1mb small film to test out code on

Or even better, would someone like to link to a short film (although I shouldn't need to say this: no porn) that could be used for a code test to this thread

there are two examples included in the examples library.. just open the Movie example, and you can copy it from the data-folder there..
easy as pie:)

Thankee.

I never see the examples because there's still that bug with the file selection going off the screen (yes I know about the folders, no I can't be bothered - everytime I try to reduce it all down it keeps growing or I lose stuff, my room is cleaner than my Processing sketchbook and that's saying something).

Cheers anyway.

i sort it by year\months.. which is actually a pretty decent way of sorting, since i have some idea of when i made my different sketches...

I bundled the lot into two folders:

testCode -> All the random code I write before posting to the forum and copy off of the forum

projects -> The stuff I upload to my site

Problem solved. I generally expect to have to go wading when it comes to snippets, but the projects are few enough to access readily
