reversing numbers coming in from pot
Oct 17th, 2005, 5:05am

Hello.

I have a pot spitting data into Processng..
actually its a number range between 0 and 1024.

However the way the pot turns, it is sort of backwards relating to the objects it controls in Processing.

Is it simple division? or something else?

Much appreciation!

Maybe do 1024 - number?

Not really sure what you mean by "pot," could you clarify?

Ya the subtraction is what I needed.
Been up all night trying to get this finished, so I'm certainly fried Tongue

Anyway, sorry for the stupid question.. hehe

Also a Pot is a common term for a potentiometer.
It's basically a variable resistor that has a knob or dial of some kind.
