Nach.

Thanks for the link, Marlon. I'm waiting for a Spanish node dedicated to Processing (forum or web).
(anybody move?)
For me English language is an obstacle, but I jump it with cheerfulness...

Yes, but that doesn't exclude the fact that I would like express myself in my own language.
Obviously learning all you can learn at the same time (open minds, we know...) I have a black hole on my brain Wink.
I think you can include all your argument as economic reasoning (ergo cultural, I know, I know). I don't like it.
Don't take the people to Processing: take Processing to the people.
Sorry.

Ja! Ich weiss, woher ich stamme!
Daffür komme ich aus Europa, I'm german too...
One saludo.
Nach.

For that of course I bow before your wisdom and agree.
Living in Barcelona for a while and having a latin girlfriend I am just very very surprised how divided everything is from the english speaking world, which I think is just misarable for us and for you Smiley.

I'm sure even for Emmanuel Kant, who spoke english fluently and used to travel once a week to London and twice to New York.

And I'm sure too that you have been in Barcelona, cuz "latin" is a common expression here: you say "I love you" to your "latin" girlfriend and she answers "secundum eos qui dicunt contradictoria simul esse vera, darling".

Please, ask her for the Catalan point of view and the catalan language (you'll know what I'm talking about). If she answers something like "vida loca", "paella", "sangría" or "fiesta", dude be careful: you have an "unknown" girlfriend showing you the "unknown" Barcelona as a "latin" issue divided from the english speaking world... and look for the red pill to get out the Matrix.
Please, forgive my jocularity.

----------------------------------------------------------

This time i didn't write this comment in english because i don't have enough time to do it.

Sorry

@owd: Well said!

Actually my dear owd, I was refering to latin as in "latin-america" Smiley since she is from the beautiful country of chi chi chile. And in case this were a matrix, I wouldnt want the red pill Tongue

@marlonj: Of course you a right what you say about accessability for all languages. But in times where colombianos, alemanes and chinese are communicating without separation of space and time, language related issues evolve that need to be thought of which were not necessary before. In your case since you are making a workshop in a physical place you can of course stick to a language.

But for me it was so impressive when I moved from Barcelona to Amsterdam how incredibly easy it was here to communicate with the people. Everybody speaks dutch, perfect english, ok french and mostly a good german. There are no language frontiers that divide and people are so much more equal in my opinion.

Anyway its a rather abstract discussion. But I am happy to see the 2 founders of the first soon to come spanish Processing community have found themselves Smiley
