What if we turn this the other way round?

Why not make a highly usable, flexible "class" in actionscript like a .swf, that can understand processing-code and emulate its behaviour?

Something like http://www.laszlosystems.com/. You can create interactive Flash-Pages in html/xml-style without hacking the guts of actionscript.

The other thing I found was a discussion of brevity on blprnt's blog (http://blog-blprnt-com.bryght.net/blog/blprnt/brevity)

I think it would be *very* useful to get processing into .swf files instead of learning somethink new like brevity. Aren't there any brevity hackers who like p5 and want to port something?
