Keyboard "shortcuts"? (Read 1650 times)
Keyboard "shortcuts"?

I would love if it could be possible to have "shortcuts" for selecting/deselecting code, functions like in Text editors.

For example:
ALT + Arrow (left/right) to jump from word to word instead of from sign to sign;
Alt + Shift + Arrow to select an entire word
Alt + Arrow (up/down) to jump to the very top or bottom of code

I miss functions like this while typing...
Just a suggestion. Processing helps me a lot and it's a great initiative!

they're in there, it's just CTRL instead of ALT.

however there are cross-platform incompatabilities so it's still on the todo list--mac, windows and linux users all expect something slightly different and we need to iron that part of it out and do the right thing for each platform. or for instance, the arrows aren't recognized when shift is pressed, that sort of thing.
