code exchange

Well, I would suggest that the message board needs a "code area", where people can UL the stuff they make, bug others for comments, critiques, debugging, etc.

Don't know if P5 will run in the browser like DBN did, but it would be great to be able to preview stuff.

It could get wild if one could give write access to files -- collablorative editing!

Yes, I will only suggest things which require lots of work

uh, maybe that's what the "examples" and "tools" areas are...

Gee, I'm really making the impression of an intelligent and observant participant! I promise to keep up the good work!

OK, I really am a dufus.

I just checked out the examples in the learing secion, and --whopee!-- they run in the browser.

So, webmasters, how can we get this functionality in the discourse area?

Maybe add a 'users gallery' or 'playground' area? (in addition to a 'critique' and 'help me debug' area, of course...)

The "Examples" area is a curated place for simple and clean expressions of basic concepts. As a part of the larger Proce55ing plan, we hope one day to be able to support a wide range of code sharing activities through distributed file sharing in the Proce55ing environment and to support people adding links to their own sites. For now, we have the Examples section of the discussion board which has began to be used is very nice way.
