Processing for math haters?

Hello everyone, I've been searching the web for good (but simple) sofwares for drawing/making pictures for years (with bits of generative process) & at least, it seems that PROCESSING is a wicked sofware (from what i've seen with C.REAS art) & really exiting/creative form of art. I've been drawing myself with computers for a decade, but always with simple tools: i dont know how to program & use stuff like java. so i have a few questions: * is Processing available now (it seems it is from feedback on this mb)? * will be available a simple application for it (like photoshop or apophysis)? * is it a free software? * as i dont know much about programation should i give up? Again, endless congratulations for the programmers as the outputs of processing seems absolutly mindblowing. (& what maeda thinks of it all?) Presseta Mann
