Ascii Video

Hello I am a student working on a project where I wanted to take a small video like the one in the "Pixels" example given in the processing program. Then convert the video to black and white and have it broken down into ascii text. Would anyone have any sample script I could use as a model or be able to tell me of any problems I would encounter?

Hasciicam can do this from a live camera -- maybe it can also do what you need... see http://ascii.dyne.org/?info=features I thoroughly recommend getting a copy of dyne:bolic Linux if you have PC h/ware and want to try it out... it's a free Linux distribution that will boot direct from CD. Get it from http://dyne.org/
