Cory Doctorow's new book in one-word-at-a-time variable-speed applet format.
I would use this, I think, if it was full screen so I could sit back a bit. Otherwise it makes me focus on one spot for two long. I would also prefer to set colours myself. I might take a look at re-implemeting this in Processing at the weekend.
Another suggestion I heard was for a "replay last sentence, slower" button.
