this is partly a general topic, as i wonder if there are any one here intrested in teaching, educating or publish materials on p5, and to discuss such things here? (i've prevoiusly written books and some 60 articles for journals, but in general only in swedish, my native.)
i really would be glad, if i could participate in any way, like translating a short manual for p5, or a collaborative effort on a sort of some user manual/faq.
on a prevoius initiative i translated a short manual for bluej (http://www.bluej.org), and even got others to follow.
i would be pleased if anyone intrested would respond.

casey can probably provide a more complete answer on this one, but it may be a little bit before he can reply because he's in the midst of a lot of travelling.
in the meantime, we're planning a book project that will function as a sort of text for learning computational design via proce55ing, with more of a slant towards how it might fit into a traditional design curriculum.
there's also the entire reference section of the web site, which we'd be happy to have translated to other languages. such a translation would find its way onto the site, with your name in lights to accompany it. imageine the fame!
we'd be especially excited about a complete translation, and a willingness to maintain it while there are slight shifts to the language api and syntax.

Thank you very much for the offer. As Ben mentioned, we are developing Proce55ing into a book project. In addition to the book there will also be extensive online documentation in the form of a reference manual and many tutorials. The current reference docs on the site will be phased out and replaced with new documents. I think it is unfortunately too early to begin translating now because the documents are changing too quickly. I hope that we will be able to begin this effort together in the beginning of 2003.
