Thank you casey and ben for finally putting out the alpha! I've been playing with some of proce55ing before it became available and it's so amazingly powerful. Now that I've seen the interface, I just want more - more - more. Need any help on the project? (E.g. the editor?) I'm studying graphic design right now, and this year we might have a project week were some student programmers and student designers come together. I really hope we can use proce55ing for that project... it is starting to shape up really good. Regards, Frederik

again thanks for the nice note.. we'd love some help with the editor, particularly if you're a skilled java programmer. my general plan has been to hack up jedit (an open source programmer's text editor) and remove lots of its features, then splice it into p5. that is, unless i can find a simpler java.awt.TextArea replacement that 1) works and 2) does syntax highlighting and some other tidbits. contact me if you (or others) might be interested.
