fasttext in p69

i'm working on a project that requires some pixel perfect nice text and i'm having no look making fonts look nice in processing at all.
can anyone tell me how to get fasttext ( http://bodytag.org/fasttext/ ) running in p69?
i always get an error with: pixels[pos] = stroke(); in the example file and even commenting the line out results in a blank screen.
