3D object loader part II
« on: Sep 28th, 2003, 7:10pm »

Today I worked on this 'external 3D-data loader'

It loads an 3D .obj file, and it`s texture.

Very nice indeed! I like that starfish, or whatever it is supposed to be.

there are some programs which are capable of producing .obj-Files. Originally it is a format used by LightWave.

If you are looking for a free modeller, i would recommend WINGS.

I also recommend Wings, this coming from a full-time Maya/Max user. It's lightweight, and perfect for making OBJs for programmers/artists alike.
