Bsound jsynth

hi, everytime I wanted to install the jsyn plugin, went into troubles. Even copying the missing files after abortive autoinstallion into the /lib and /bin folder does not have any effect. What's going on with BSound ? I have a simple game with some tones to play and don't want the user to install a plugin. Will BSound completly removed from processing ?

bsound still works, the reference has been taken off the website reference. i think it's being reworked..? it's still in the local reference folder in your processing directory though

Can anyone send me a copy ? I did not have the docs for BSound on my local machine. The Samples sound very dirty, even though they are wav with 48khz 16bit. Watch here: http://www.andre-michelle.com/processing/cytris/

i think we're probably killing off BSound for the near term. perhaps we'll open up the code and folks can modify it and use it in projects as a library, but it's just got too many bugs, and problems (samples only play at 8khz, in keeping with the java 1.1 restriction.. that's why samples sound so muddy) for us to continue its maintenance. sonia is a much better way to go, and you can also use the javax.sound libraries.
