fullscreen display
« on: Feb 8th, 2004, 11:43am »

hi

I am using processing for an installation and plan to beam the output on a table. However, there is this little problem with the window menu bar that still shows up (using OS X 10.2). Are there any suggestion how I could get rid of it?

on windows you get fullscreen/no-windowborder
by 'shift' - clicking on the run button..

(although I`m not sure this will work on osX)

naaa Present-mode on OSX shows that damn menu bar

however, michael05 has shake'n'baked a description of how you can run an applet in fullscreen mode on OSX:

yep, osx java 1.3 doesn't let you take over the whole screen

the big rev of p5 down the road will use java 1.4 by default on osx so i can patch in fullscreen stuff there, and will also get it into BApplet so that people can run things standalone.
