How about adding a link on the post-entry page to a quick-ref bbcode site, or even an example of how to mark up code?
Lunetta's problem would be solved by using a bbcode 'code' tag instead of a 'quote' tag.

I checked out the Admin features for the board and I can't turn of smileys without turning off features like "quote" and "code". I think we need to promote the features of the board so people know when to use "code" to avoid the problem mentioned above.
