Safari: logged out from Discourse Section
« on: Feb 7th, 2004, 4:25pm »

Hello!
I use the website processing.org with Safari 1.1 on OSX Panther. I can't stay logged in the Discourse section!
Every time I try to logg in, it seems to work as its written «Welcome, myUserName…» on top of page. But when I move to another page (Search for example) or topic, I'm logged out and the new page welcomes me as «Guest»!
I tried using IE5, it works well, I'm logged automatically everytime I move to Discourse, but I would be pleased to use Apple Browser instead!
Thanx fi help.

i assume that would be down to your cookie settings in safari. check that you have them enabled/allowed, as what you're describing seems to be the typical symptom of cookies not being enabled.

Hum! It looks like I'll need to revise my basics?
