If quicktime java is not installed prior to updating to version 6.4, the user will not have the option to install QTjava on the windows platform. Steps to installing quicktime java: 1. full uninstall of quicktime 6.4 2. full uninstall of iTunes, reboot. 3. go to http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120250 and download quicktime 6.1 4. choose the custom installation and check java 5. finish installation 6. (optional) start "processing" to test QTjava install 7. go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ and download and install quicktime 6.4 (iTunesSetup.exe) those are the steps i took to get it working on my windows xp pro box anyways.

Is this problem still an issue with the newest Quicktime versions? I seem to remember reading somewhere that Apple now includes QuickTime for Java again...
