minor thingie. on WINXP, P50054, JRE1.4.1x, the file/edit/sketch comes out in white, even though the rest of the bar is gray. for what it's worth... (P5 interface is so beautiful and simple, it actually bothers me...)

oh, that's disappointing. i'm guessing it's a jvm bug (since we don't bother setting the menu color at all) but we can probably get a workaround in there. B.

looked into this one a little.. the solution is non-obvious since i can't seem to set the color for menus.. it's on the list, at any rate. thanks for the report.

i think it has something to do with the existing editors that processing utilizes. they tend to follow system defaults. on a linux box running kde's default skin, the menu and the scrollbars have motif looks. here's a suggestion. try changing your winxp theme to 'windows classic' and you'll have your gray menus again.

i think the xp problem was a java 1.4.1 issue, because it seems to be fixed in 57, which is using 1.4.2 by default.
