so we've gotten this request a couple of times.. tho i'm not quite clear on what it would do. are lines not highlighting properly after there's an error? what would you use them for? any easy fix would be to add a small indicator that shows the current line that you're on, but it might be a while before we can get real line numbers lining up on the side of the text area.

some errors involve stuff happening on many lines, so it's always good to know where you're at and where you started when tracking down those errors. this is no doubt something that some people find useful and others don't, but i think plenty of people do.

yeah, it helps me find my place when i'm tweaking stuff, when code gets longer and longer it's easy to get lost.
