Thanks for posting that, it's very interesting. What was the background/experience of the students? Were most of them designers? I assume it was a college level class? I have been pushing for my university to consider teaching Processing instead of, or alongside, VRML. However, our current focus is on 3D virtual environments and Processing's 3D doesn't yet seem finished enough. That seems to be the conclusion you came to after trying it - did I get the right impression?

oh, the background they're all college kids in digital design. they're halfway between sophomores and juniors. umm... digital disign is like graphic design but it deals more with time based applications like 3-d, interactivity, and motion design. and yes, my conclusion was that 3-d in Processing was limited without getting into complicated 3-d math.
