Here is a little sketch I played with lat night. (MY FIRST -H00RAY!) Basically i added sound to the "Bounce" example, and more balls so it makes some kind of random "song". The music is my own, snippets from a song I was working on a while ago. You can view it with the source here: http://openloops.com (yes for the moment its on the front page- i finally have some up here Comments on my experiences so far: ** Make sure you call sonia.start BEFORE trying to load samples else you will get a file.io exception and it will tell you that it cant find your samples. ** I had real trouble trying to export wav files to be compatable with sonia, and ended up using aif instead. (I tried various frequencies 11-44-48 and also differne tencodings, including no encoding (what the manual says sonia requires) But those problems aside this was a joy to make- from go to whoah in about 2 hours- I am totally in love with how easy yet powerful this is. NOTE:YOU WILL NEED THE JYSN PLUGIN TO LISTEN TO THE APPLET ONLINE. Otherwise just download the data directory, and make sure you have the sonia stuff in your sketch's code directory.
