Recently I used processing to work on a small project on visual illusions. The original was in Quicktime, but here's a modified version that is a bit interactive...

Mr. Prufrock,

It's wonderful to have another posting from you. Where did this experimentation come from?

I prefer the studies involving squares.

Hello Mr.REAS,

It comes from a little animation loop (about 1 min), which will be displayed on a 4m x 4m LED panel. My plan was to make some simple visual illusions, which hopefully will look good when it's big... I hope I'll get some photos of the actual thing very soon.

Initially, I used processing to make very simple animation, then converted them to quicktime, then edit them in AfterEffects, and then mess around in director. The screenGrab() is a very nice and useful function.

I prefer the square ones too, especially when I'm drunk...

Cheers!
