Hello everyone. I work for The Learning Community Group. We develop curriculum and teach arts-oriented technology courses at The Boston Museum of Science, among other places. As far as programming languages, we've taught actionscript, html, C++ and this summer we'll be teaching processing! We've been exploring the forum for some time now and have been repeatedly blow away by some of the work everyone has done. We're very excited by processing's potential as an technology and arts integration teaching tool and are very appreciative of all the hard work that has gone into processing's development. We've made a few examples while learning the ropes. They're pretty pedestrian compared to some of the other stuff we've come across but we thought you might like to check them out anyway: http://www.thelcg.com/processing_gallery.htm We'd love to hear some feedback and if anyone has any thoughts, suggestions or recourses on processing and arts integration with core curriculum let 'em rip. Thanks and keep up the good work, Case

Hello Case, This is very exciting. Who is the audience for your Processing workshop? Teachers, young students, other? There's alot of Processing teaching materials linked from this page: http://processing.org/learning/courses/ + Casey

I've liked the idea behind "Time-lapse Video". I've found this really beautiful and poetic, the difference of speed between objects of the scene (sun and cars) makes it more enjoyable.

Thanks REAS and v3ga. Our workshops are targeted towards teachers from both schools and community orgs and our week-long courses this summer at the museum will be for grades 6-9, which is the same age group we teach C++ to. I've read the thread entitled: "teaching processing: a recommended age range?" and agree with Amit Pitaru's comments. Would it be possible for us to get on the list of workshop providers in the Courses and Workshops section? v3ga: Check back with us in a month or so - we hope to have some video of the trees blooming.
