a new revision with some bug fixes is up, available from the usual location. see the 'bugs' bboard for details. it's not the uber-release that i had been hoping to make (that's still on its way) but it has many useful bug fixes (console no longer causes crashes, polygons can be concave, umlauts in fonts, etc). this will be the last release till april or so while i finish up with some school stuff. have fun!

Thanks! A couple questions I never got around to asking... 1. how does "Use external editor" work? I see no place to tell Processing which editor to call. 2. The pde_linux.properties - are these read after pde.properties? (Actually I just answered that myself - answer appears to be yes. Perhaps one could add this to the file: # This file will be read after pde.properties; please make any configuration changes here. 3. loading Quicktime - I get the error "type BVideo" was not found. Is this nto available for Linux? What if we have the Quicktime libraries from Windows? (Thanks to all for all tips and help) -K

re #1, use external editor simply tells processing that you're editing that file with another editor. it doesn't automatically load the file with that editor for you, however. re #3, that'll require a good bit of hacking, maybe once i get a chance to work on the video stuff we can take a look at that.
