video no worky

I don't know what to say about this, but it seems that all of my previously working webcam based experiments no longer work. They freeze up processing and i have to force quit. A couple times I got a incompatibleClassChangeError but if i killed the code folder with the Sonia goodies in it, that error would go away.
I don't recall any updates I might have installed which would have changed anything. Has anyone else run into this? Even the simple reference sketches hang.
Mac OSX 10.3.3
Processing v69 (tried v68 as well with the same results)
iSight webcam
Not sure what to try next... at a total loss.

DOH!!!
It was stupid. I recently bought a new flexy microphone and I guess if your sound input is set to the flexy mic instead of the iSight mic, processing get confused.
So there you go.
iSight + MicFlex USB Microphone = no video based processing projects
