Kinect and sleep mode
I have a long running installation as part of an art exhibition. Environment is made of 3 mac minis and one win7 pc and 2 kinects (on real kinect, one xtion pro). Software on all of them is written in processing using SimpleOpenNI for kinects. During night time I would like to put the pcs in sleep mode and wake them up in the morning. That works pretty well except the the kinects dont survive the sleep mode: They just dont work any more after wake-up. I have to stop the processing programs and restart them again and everything is fine. But because I want to make everything as easy as possible for the people in the museum I dont like this kind of complexity. My questions: Is there any solution to make the kinect survive the sleep mode or can it be made working again after wake -up ? Any other ideas for an automatic wake-up including a working kinec ? thnx for your help.
